Anzac Day Commemorations

Townsville City Council presents official Anzac Day Commemorations in partnership with the Thuringowa RSL Sub-Branch.

Each year, 25 April is set aside to remember all Australian and New Zealand service men and women who have served their country and to pay respect to those who lost their lives in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.

A Dawn Service, Parade and mid-morning Service will be held at Riverway Precinct in which veterans, local schools, community groups, service organisations, and the armed forces participate.

Date: Saturday 25 April 2026

Time: 5.20-10.30am

Where: Thuringowa Cenotaph, Riverway Precinct
